We are positive this year will be better, easier, and more fruitful than the last one, and many doors will open for all of us if we believe in it, so our message for the beginning of this year would be - BELIEVE! As employers look ahead to 2024, the labor market doesn’t appear to be easing much, meaning talent acquisition and retention won’t get any easier for HR leaders. However, experts say that traditional and newer benefits can play a critical role in helping attract and retain top candidates and employees.
From mental health and financial wellness to covering menopause benefits and weight loss drugs, both familiar and emerging benefits will remain critical to HR strategy, says Julie Stich, vice president of content at the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans.
“If you’ve got people who are productive and they’re skilled and bring the skills you need and want, you’ll want to keep them—and benefits is one way to do that,” Stich tells HRE.
Survey: Barriers to insurance coverage in FemHealth and FemTech
Have you experienced challenges getting the right insurance coverage for the risks your business faces? Tokio Marine Kiln, a leading specialist insurer and one of our business members, is investigating the barriers to insurance for FemTech and FemHealth businesses and the impact of those barriers, in order to improve awareness and understanding of the insurance needs of FemTech companies.
To support this research, they are inviting WoW members to complete a short survey that should take no more than a few minutes to complete, which asks about your experiences in exploring the coverage you need. The findings will be incorporated into a broader report that into these issues will be released in 2024.
