Happy Monday everyone! 🙂
WE ARE BACK! After taking a few weeks off in August, we are finally back to work. We missed you all so much and although we enjoyed our holidays thoroughly we are super happy to get into our routine of work and face new exciting challenges and projects this fall.

Feeling like leisure is wasteful and unproductive may lead to less happiness and higher levels of stress and depression, new research suggests. In a series of studies, researchers examined the effects of a common belief in modern society: that productivity is the ultimate goal and time’s a-wasting if you’re just having fun (find out more here). People who most strongly agreed with this belief not only enjoyed leisure less, but also reported poorer mental health outcomes, said Selin Malkoc, co-author of the study and associate professor of marketing at Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business. One bright side: Some skeptical people could enjoy fun activities if leisure was part of a larger goal, and not an end in itself.
So some weeks ago we went to a Ceramics Cafe and we think this will become a weekly routine for us 🥰🎨☕️ It’s a great way to relax, express yourself creatively but also - to talk about business!
In the meantime, we will be busy planning a whole new set of exciting projects for this fall, and if you have any suggestions and feedback on topics, speakers, and formats you’d like to see, as usual, send them our way at hello@womenofwearables.com.
