Announcing our biggest project ever - FEMTECH FORUM 2020 - first global virtual conference about femtech!
Your go-to place for latest news and updates from the world of emerging technologies and diversity in tech.
Happy Monday everyone!
Finally, the day has come when we can announce the big project we have been working on over the past few months - our first virtual global conference - THE FEMTECH FORUM 2020!
FemTech Forum 2020
The FemTech Forum is a celebration of innovation in women’s health, spotlighting tech-powered solutions and products that are disrupting the market and changing our everyday lives for the better.
Investors are starting to recognise the value of this industry, which is estimated to be worth $50 billion by 2025, according to Frost & Sullivan. Women in the workforce spend 29% more per capita on healthcare than their male peers and they’re 75% more likely to use digital tools to track their health. A decade ago, just $23 million worth of venture capital was invested in the global FemTech industry, according to PitchBook data. That figure grew at a modest pace until 2015, when there was a spike in funding that totalled $334 million. In 2017, VC investors participated in 49 deals in the FemTech space, totalling $354 million.
Join us on Thursday, June 25th, 2020 to hear and learn from some of the most inspiring founders, innovators, investors and influencers in FemTech, on a wide range of topics, including fertility, sexual health, designing products for modern women, the gender gap in medical research and more.
The FemTech industry is booming, and we’re excited to see what’s to come!

The organising team
Our partner in crime for this virtual conference is Bérénice Magistretti, tech journalist at Forbes and Wired UK and angel investor, and we believe that joining forces will make this event even better and bigger than we originally envisioned to be! Bérénice is a tech journalist who writes about “Tech That Matters” for Forbes and WIRED UK. She lived for three years in San Francisco, where she covered the flow of money in Silicon Valley as VentureBeat’s VC reporter. Bérénice is fascinated with the FemTech space and has been covering it for the past few years, moderating panels on women’s health at SXSW and Startup Grind Europe. She is gradually transitioning to venture capital and is now part of Jane VC’s “Operator Network” to promote and invest in female-led companies. We couldn’t make this event happen without her, so make sure to check her articles out and follow her on social media! :)
We hope you can join us in June for an all-day discussions about innovation in women’s health space!
